Role Description
This part-time, on-site role as a Receptionist/Document Specialist is based in Independence, OH. The person in this position will manage incoming mail, faxes, and deliveries by accepting, logging, scanning, and distributing items in accordance with firm procedures, including sorting, opening, and properly saving mail. They will perform a range of administrative tasks such as data entry, copying, and scanning, while also providing coverage for Legal Secretaries during absences or on a project basis. This individual will handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion, communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, and team members to ensure a high level of service, participate in in-house training to support ongoing development and legal knowledge, and complete additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Superb proofreading and writing skills.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Solid computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience with PracticeMaster/TABS or similar software a plus.
