OFFICE ADMINISTRATIVE RECEPTIONIST
Department: Administration
Reports To: Director of Human Resources
FLSA Status: Non-exempt
Summary: Provides administrative and receptionist support duties applying a high-level towards attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
FRONT OFFICE/RECEPTION SUPPORT:
- Answers incoming telephone calls, determine purpose of callers, and forwards calls to appropriate personnel or department. Retrieves messages from General Voicemail and forwards to appropriate personnel
- Welcomes on-site visitors, determines nature of business, follows sign-in protocols, and announces visitors to appropriate personnel
- Receives mail and delivers it appropriately. Processes outgoing mail in a timely manner
- Performs clerical duties and other administrative tasks as required, such as scanning, filing, typing, photocopying, and collating.
- Assists other departments as directed by manager.
- Set-up and breakdown of reception area and conference room, including drinks, snacks, and supplies.
- Supports distribution of front office supplies and monthly orders

Qualifications:
Supervisory Responsibilities
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and at least 1-2 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have prior experience using Microsoft Office Suite of software products to include: Microsoft Outlook, Explorer, Excel, and Word. Paperless, electronic scanning and storage software (Laserfiche) a plus, and/or prior ERP/production-manufacturing software (M1) a plus, or other related software experience required.
Salary : $20 - $22
