Hi-Speed Industrial Service is seeking a motivated Entry-Level Motor Repair Technician to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who is interested in machinery and how it operates, has a basic mechanical aptitude, and is eager to learn about industrial electric motors, fans, pumps, and gearboxes. - Assist in repairing and servicing industrial motors, fans, pumps, and gearboxes according to company and manufacturer standards.
- Learn to test electromechanical equipment (AC and DC) to help identify known or suspected problems.
- Assist with disassembling electromechanical equipment while learning proper parts identification and inspection methods.
- Clean electromechanical equipment assemblies using approved methods and tools.
- Assist with reassembling equipment and performing tests to ensure proper operation.
- Complete basic paperwork and documentation electronically accurately and on time.
- Operate shop tools and testing equipment under supervision and training.
- Assist with field service work as needed.
- Follow safety guidelines and proper procedures.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:
- Ability to safely climb ladders.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times.
- Must be able to climb multiple flights of stairs on a regular basis, up to 6 stories is common.
- Ability to walk extensive distances greater than 10,000 steps per day at times.
