A well-established commercial roofing contractor with more than 30 years in business is seeking a Commercial Roofing Sales Representative to join our team in Memphis, TN. Key Responsibilities
Develop new business through cold calling, emails, networking, door-to-door visits, and referrals.
Follow up on leads generated from marketing campaigns and direct outreach.
Schedule and conduct meetings with key decision-makers.
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients through consistent communication and follow-up.
Assess client needs and recommend appropriate roofing and service solutions.
Prepare detailed proposals, sales reports, and supporting documentation.
Maintain accurate records of all client interactions and sales activities in the CRM system.
Collaborate with the Service Manager and project teams to ensure smooth project handoffs and client satisfaction.
Manage service and repair projects generated through your sales efforts.
Perform related duties as needed.
Qualifications & Skills
Proven track record of sales success with measurable results.
Strong negotiation and closing skills, adaptable to different sales environments.
3 years of experience in roofing, construction, or a related industry preferred (not required).
Ability to identify, qualify, and close business opportunities in person and by phone.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship management skills.
Professionalism, integrity, and a customer-focused mindset.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
Ability to climb ladders and perform roof inspections as required.
Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation.
Willingness to travel locally throughout the Memphis area (up to 80%).
