Regional Account Manager – Commercial Roofing

Location: Akron, OH | Northeast Ohio
Compensation: $75,000–$100,000 base salary, depending on experience, plus commission

Are you a relationship-driven sales professional who knows how to open doors, build trust, and turn conversations into long-term business?

A fast-growing commercial roofing contractor based in Akron, OH is seeking an experienced Regional Account Manager to help expand its presence throughout Northeast Ohio.

Now entering its fourth year in business, the company continues to grow across Northeast Ohio and Central Ohio, with an additional Pittsburgh market in development. This is an opportunity to join a growing organization where strong performers can make an immediate impact and grow alongside the company.

This is a true outside sales and business development role. You will not be responsible for estimating projects. Your focus will be building relationships, identifying opportunities, representing the company in the market, and generating new business.

Commercial roofing experience is required.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Develop new business throughout Akron and the surrounding Northeast Ohio market

• Strengthen and grow relationships with existing customers

• Build relationships with building owners, property managers, facility managers, and other commercial decision-makers

• Focus primarily on commercial roof replacement opportunities, while also identifying service and maintenance needs

• Follow up on leads generated by the company’s Business Development Department

• Prospect independently and create your own relationships and opportunities

• Meet with customers in the field to understand their needs and communicate the company’s capabilities

• Perform initial roof assessments and gather information for the internal estimating and operations teams

• Manage your sales pipeline and customer activity through HubSpot

• Partner closely with estimating, operations, and production teams to move opportunities forward

• Maintain customer relationships after the sale and generate repeat business

What We’re Looking For

• Commercial roofing experience required

• Previous outside sales or business development experience

• Proven ability to prospect, open doors, and develop new relationships

• Strong communication, organization, and follow-up skills

• Confidence meeting with property owners, facility managers, and other decision-makers

• Willingness and ability to climb ladders and access commercial roofs when needed

• Comfortable conducting basic roof assessments

• Experience with HubSpot, Dataforma, EDGE, or similar platforms is a plus

• Self-motivated and comfortable managing a territory independently

• Strong sense of ownership and accountability
