Key Responsibilities
- Analyze drawings, specifications, photos, and site conditions to develop precise project estimates
- Perform detailed takeoffs for TPO, EPDM, PVC, Modified Bitumen, coatings, and reroof projects
- Create comprehensive scopes of work and material lists
- Collaborate with vendors to obtain pricing, product options, and lead times
- Partner closely with project managers, sales, and leadership to support competitive bid strategies
- Prepare proposals, budgets, and change orders
- Manage deadlines for public and private bid submissions
- Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits as needed
Qualifications
- 5 years of commercial roofing estimating experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of commercial roofing systems and industry safety standards
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications
- Proficiency with estimating tools (Edge, Bluebeam, or equivalent)
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
