Role Description
This is a full-time, part time, on-site Psychiatrist role based in Haines City, FL. The Psychiatrist will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating individuals with mental health conditions, including providing psychiatric treatment and care for adolescents and adults. Key daily tasks involve conducting psychiatric evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, prescribing and monitoring medications, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care. The Psychiatrist will also provide expert support for patients and their families as they navigate their mental health challenges.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Psychiatry and Psychiatric Care
- Experience in Adolescent Psychiatry and Mental Health
- Comprehensive knowledge of Medicine applied to psychiatric conditions
- Strong communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills
- Board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry
- Valid medical license to practice in the state of Florida
- Prior experience in a clinical or healthcare setting
- Commitment to staying updated on emerging practices and psychiatric advancements
- Bilingual (English and Spanish)
