We are looking for an Area Manager to join the HHM Facility Management team! The Area Manager supports their team members and customs in an assigned area.

Position Summary
The Area Manager plans, organizes, and oversees daily operations of assigned site to meet the strategic goals of the organization. This position is responsible for achieving departmental goals, change management, process improvement, business growth, efficiencies, forecasting needs, employee and customer satisfaction and retention, regulatory compliance, employee safety, and fiscal management.
Essential Functions
An individual must be able to successfully perform the essential functions of this position with or without a reasonable accommodation.
- Oversees a team of Supervisors, Team Leads, and cleaning specialist.
- Plan, lead, and monitor the daily activities of team in assigned area.
- Recruit, hire, train, develop, and evaluate the performance of personnel.
- Routinely inspects quality of service delivery, including Sub-Contractors, and proactive customer communication, recommending additional services as needed.
- Prompt response to customer requests, projects or complaints to ensure quality standards are met or exceeded.
- Maintain inventory of consumable supplies to avoid disruption of service.
- Maintain company vehicles including repairs and routine maintenance in accordance with company standards.
- Evaluate regularly the efficiency of business procedures according to organizational objectives and apply improvements.
- Ensure team operates in compliance with federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, specifications, safety guidelines, and best practices.
- Perform general janitorial duties, which may include disinfecting and sanitizing such as Covid19 deep cleaning.
- Frequent overnight or extended travel to observe operations or meet with employees or customers.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education And/or Experience
- High School diploma required, Bachelor’s degree in related field a plus.
- 4 years of leadership experience in a similar industry required.
Physical Activities The following physical activities are necessary to perform one or more essential functions of this position.
- Occasional periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Frequent stooping, bending, crouching, climbing, pushing or pulling, and exposure to loud noises.
- Lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying up to 50 pounds.
- Exposure to biohazardous material and chemicals commonly used in the janitorial industry.
- May use janitorial equipment such as vacuums, foggers, and floor scrubbers.
- Use of PPE such as latex gloves, protective clothing, safety glasses, and masks as needed.
