SmithLife Homecare is seeking Washington, DC licensed Home Health Aides for weekend shifts only (Friday–Sunday or Saturday–Sunday). We offer 12, 8, 6, and 4 hour shifts with flexible scheduling options, including morning and evening shifts. As a nursing agency, we prioritize flexibility by allowing caregivers to select their own cases and availability. Our focus is on delivering personalized, one-on-one care so you can dedicate your full attention to one client at a time.
Job details include:
- Personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, assisting with bathroom
- Medication reminders
- Companionship
- Meal preparation
- Assisting with shopping
- Transport to and from appointments
- Light housekeeping and laundry
- Dementia care
Qualifications:
- Valid home health aide license in the District of Columbia
- Valid CPR Certification
- Two doses of the COVID Vaccine
- Two years of experience as a home health aide
- Recent Tuberculosis screening
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Valid Health Certificate
SCHEDULE:
Weekend only (Friday–Sunday or Saturday–Sunday)
Flexible shifts available: 12, 8, 6, or 4 hours
Morning and evening shifts offered
Consistent assignments with one-on-one client care
