Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA)
SmithLife Homecare is looking for geriatric nursing assistants that have a license in the state of Maryland. Shifts come to us as needed from the facilities that we are contracted with, and caregivers can choose when they work based on their availability. All geriatric nursing assistants are expected to work on the floor of these facilities while assisting many different clients. Caregivers are expected to be motivated and hard-working.
Job details include:
- Personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, assisting with bathroom
- Ensuring clean, safe, and quality nursing services
- Light housekeeping
- Dementia care
- Provide nutritional support
- Report changes of client’s condition to nurse on duty
Qualifications:
- Valid home geriatric nursing assistant license in Maryland
- Valid CPR Certification
- Two doses of the COVID Vaccine
- Two years of experience as a certified nursing assistant
- Recent Tuberculosis screening
- Strong interpersonal skills
Salary : $18 - $21
