Brands manufactured at the Martinsburg facility include Carolina® work boots, Corcoran® military boots, Double-H Boots® western boots, Matterhorn® mining boots, as well as contracted custom work for many other companies.
Purchasing Agent
Job Summary:
- Research and compare suppliers, goods and services
- Build and maintain positive, long-term supplier relations
- Prepare and process purchase orders
- Monitoring inventory levels and determine purchasing needs
- Maintaining records of all transaction, purchase orders and receipts
- Assist in planning and conducting daily cycle counts
- Schedule and verify deliveries
- Requesting quotes and negotiate prices
- Other miscellaneous tasks as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications/Skills:
- Preferred requirements – Associates Degree or related business experience.
- Must be detail-oriented, accurate, and able to learn quickly.
- Strong skills in Excel required.
Schedule:
- Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Pay:
- $18 /hr depending on qualifications.
