Job Overview
The Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager with daily operations, staff leadership, customer service, and inventory control. This role helps maintain smooth store performance and ensures that Heytea’s service and product standards are consistently met.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily store operations, including supervising staff and managing workflow.
- Maintain high drink quality standards and ensure all team members follow Heytea SOPs.
- Train, coach, and support team members to improve performance.
- Monitor inventory levels, place orders, and ensure accurate stock rotation.
- Handle customer issues professionally and maintain a positive store atmosphere.
- Support scheduling, shift planning, and labor management.
- Help achieve sales targets and operational KPIs.
- Ensure cleanliness, food safety, and workplace safety compliance.
- Lead the team during peak hours to ensure fast and friendly service.
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in food & beverage, retail management, or hospitality preferred.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
- Reliable, responsible, and team-oriented.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
- Passion for customer service and bubble tea culture is a plus.
- Bilingual in Chinese and English is a plus.
