A Registered Nurse (RN) provides primary, acute, and emergency healthcare to individuals . They perform patient triage, manage chronic conditions, administer medications, and respond to urgent medical situations within a secure, interdisciplinary environment.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Intake & Assessment: Screening newly admitted inmates for physical and mental health needs or substance abuse issues.
- Clinical Care: Treating injuries, dispensing medications, and managing chronic illnesses or infectious diseases.
- Triage & Emergencies: Autonomously evaluating sudden illnesses or injuries and coordinating outside emergency care when necessary.
- Medication Management: Strictly tracking, counting, and documenting controlled substances per state and institutional laws.
Pay: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour
