About the Position
KAYA Korean Restaurant is looking for a dependable, friendly, and detail-oriented Cashier / Packer to join our team. This role is essential in providing excellent customer service while ensuring all takeout and delivery orders are accurately packed and ready for customers and delivery drivers.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers with a friendly and professional attitude.
- Process dine-in, takeout, and delivery orders using the Toast POS system.
- Accurately handle cash, credit card, and digital payments.
- Carefully pack takeout and delivery orders, ensuring all food items, sauces, utensils, and special requests are included.
- Verify order accuracy before handing orders to customers or delivery drivers.
- Maintain a clean and organized cashier and packing station.
- Answer customer phone calls and assist with takeout orders.
- Work efficiently during busy meal periods while maintaining attention to detail.
- Support team members with other front-of-house duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous cashier or restaurant experience is preferred but not required.
- Experience with Toast POS is a plus (training provided if needed).
- Strong attention to detail—packing accuracy is a key responsibility.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
