About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on Data Scientist with deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) and Vertex AI to design, develop, and deploy advanced machine learning solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong applied experience in predictive modeling, NLP, and MLOps on Google Cloud Platform. This is a fully onsite role based in Alpharetta, GA.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy scalable ML models using Vertex AI, BigQuery ML, and AI Platform Pipelines.

• Work with structured and unstructured data to generate actionable insights and predictive intelligence.

• Collaborate with Data Engineers and Cloud Architects to ensure robust data pipelines and feature stores on Google Cloud Platform.

• Implement MLOps best practices using Vertex AI Pipelines, Cloud Build, and Cloud Functions.

• Evaluate, fine-tune, and optimize models for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.

• Communicate findings through dashboards, data visualizations, and reports to business stakeholders.

• Stay current on Google Cloud Platform AI/ML innovations, LLM advancements, and AutoML tools.

Required Skills & Experience

• 6 years total experience in data science or applied machine learning.

• 3 years hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Vertex AI, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub).

• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-Learn.

• Experience in model training, tuning, deployment, and monitoring in a cloud-native environment.

• Strong background in statistics, data wrangling, and feature engineering.

• Exposure to LLMs, GenAI, or AutoML within Vertex AI is a plus.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Google Cloud Platform Professional Data Scientist or ML Engineer Certification.

• Experience integrating ML models with APIs or microservices.

• Familiarity with Looker, BigQuery ML, and Dataform.
