At Hewn Bakery, a nationally acclaimed, independent bakery celebrated for our naturally fermented breads and pastries, we believe in fostering a warm and welcoming community. We're looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Front-of-House (FOH) staff to be the friendly face of our Libertyville location. As a valued member of our FOH team, you will:
- Craft exceptional customer experiences with a genuine smile and attentive service.
- Prepare and serve delicious coffee beverages with care (barista experience a plus!).
- Accurately process transactions using our POS system and ensure a tidy and inviting workspace.
What we're looking for in our next team member:
- Reliable, organized, and driven by a strong work ethic.
- An early bird who is available to brighten our customers' mornings and can work weekends. Available shifts include 7am-11 or 12 and weekend mornings.
- Previous experience in customer service or a retail environment.
- Bonus points for barista experience and a love for coffee!
- Comfortable with basic computer operations.
- Able to safely lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
- Possession of a Food Handler's certification (or willingness to obtain).
- An upbeat and positive attitude that shines through in every interaction.
