Role Description
Working in the Front of House team, you are responsible for ensuring the delivery of a high-class restaurant operation. You will work in our restaurant inside the venue, serving sliders and sharing plates for parties and group bookings, as well as seated meals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Orchestrating and leading top quality restaurant service to compliment the customer experience.
- Supervising the team on shift, ensuring all staff follow direction.
- Rotating staff as required during shifts according to customer flow.
- Organising shifts and rotas for staff with fairness and sufficient time to plan.
- Dealing with customer complaints.
- Dealing with staff and operation issues locally or escalating to the correct department lead as required.
- Monitor and order stock, ensuring sufficient levels at all times.
- Assisting with Restaurant and Cleaning responsibilities as required by customer levels.
- Recruiting and training new staff members.
- Managing HR, including 121s, disciplinaries and performance reviews.
- Management of all budgets and labour margins.
Other Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure all training is promptly completed and documented.
- Contribute to and suggest ways of improving company processes.
- Design and implement new procedures as directed by senior team.
- Onboarding and training of newer members of the team.
Skills
Technical
- 10 years of Restaurant and Front of House experience.
- Experience leading large teams including administrative responsibilities.
- Implementing processes to improve service and operations.
- High volume restaurant operation experience with independent work.
- Experience covering multiple teams in one venue, preferably including cleaning teams.
Personal
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time including maneuvering up and down stairs.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Ability to obtain required licenses and certifications for venue’s location.
- Maintain a positive, proactive attitude, willingly taking on additional responsibilities.
- Possesses an engaging and personable manner, enhancing the overall customer experience.
- Strong attention to detail, upholding the highest standards and delivering exceptional service.
- Ability to think quickly on your feet and adapt effectively.

Salary : $50,000 - $60,000
