Duties
- Prepare, cook, and plate menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, grills and slicers
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety and sanitation protocols
- Collaborate closely with kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow and timely service
- Handle food products with care, following proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination
- Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food while maintaining quality standards
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant settings with a focus on quality and safety
- Strong knife skills with proficiency in slicing techniques and portion control
- Familiarity with food safety management systems and adherence to safety standards in production
- Ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff and team members under pressure
