What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tire and Lube Technician position at Hertz Local Edition?
We are looking for a Tire and Lube Technician with a passion to service vehicles. If this is, you and you’re ready for your next destination then you have cruised to the right spot!
Educational Background:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Professional Experience:
- Entry level position with no required experience
- Preferred prior experience with automotive repair (personal or professional)
Knowledge:
- Must be able to perform vehicle repairs with oversight
- Ability to use shop equipment such as lifts, tire changing equipment, alignment machines, and scan tools
Additional Notes:
- Must have tools to perform necessary repairs
- Minimum tools needed for the job.
- 3/8” and ½” impact wrench
- Sockets wrench - metric and standard - preferably long and short lengths.
- Oil Filter wrenches and tools
- TPMS tool - reset tire sensors
- Combo wrenches
- Screwdrivers
- Must have a Valid Driver’s License
What You’ll Get:
- The hourly rate is $23.54
- Overtime Pay: Eligible (The company pays overtime in accordance with federal, state, and local laws. Per company policy, approval is required prior to the use of overtime)
- Holiday Pay: Eligible (1.5 x regular pay rate for hours worked on a designated holiday, in addition to receiving 8 hours of holiday pay)
- Sick Pay: Granted Up to 48 hours
- Paid Time Off / Vacation / Paid observed Holidays (Accruals start at .83 Days a Month, 4 Floating Holidays, 9 Paid Observed Holidays)
