About the Role:

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to provide comprehensive treatment to patients according to state practice guidelines. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing treatment to patients under the supervision of a PT
• Assisting with patient evaluations and assessments
• Documenting patient progress and participation
• Obtaining MD orders and ensuring accurate billing
• Participating in facility and rehab meetings
• Supervising junior PTA staff members or students
• Maintaining professional relationships with co-workers, patients, and families

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited university with a BA or Associates degree in Physical Therapy recognized by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA)
• Holds current license and/or registration in the state
