Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Tree Crew Lead / Bucket Truck Operator to join our full scale tree crew.
In this role, you will lead a crew responsible for tree care, landscaping, and grounds maintenance projects, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency on every job. Your expertise in operating bucket trucks and other grounds equipment will be vital to delivering exceptional service for our clients. As a leader, you will supervise team members, run equipment such as the bucket truck, bobcat, stump grinder, chipper, etc. , and uphold high standards of a company with over 45 years of exceptional reputation.
Duties
- Lead and supervise a crew performing tree trimming, pruning, maintaining, stump removal and more.
- Operate bucket trucks, bobcat, and other grounds maintenance equipment efficiently and safely during daily tasks
- Assign tasks, and monitor work quality to ensure timely project completion
- Maintain equipment including company vehicles, ensuring proper operation and routine inspections
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and environmental regulations during all outdoor activitiesSkills
- Extensive outdoor work experience with grounds maintenance and landscaping equipment operation
- Strong leadership skills with proven experience supervising teams in outdoor settings
- Skilled in lawn care, landscape maintenance, hardscape installation, and gardening techniques
- Ability to operate a bucket truck safely while performing tree care tasks such as pruning or removal
- Excellent communication skills for team management and client interactions
- Experience supervising crew management in landscaping or tree care environments

Pay: $16.00 - $24.00 per hour
