Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead and oversee mid-size electrical construction projects from estimation to completion. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage complex electrical systems and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with all contract documents, applicable NFPA codes and corporate quality standards. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in electrical engineering, construction management, and project coordination, driving project success through proactive planning, effective communication, and meticulous execution.
Responsibilities
Lead and assist with company bid process from takeoff to proposal submission.
Lead and motivate project teams, including electricians, subcontractors, and support staff, to achieve project goals. Provide guidance, direction, and support throughout the project lifecycle.
Manage project costs to maintain estimated budget.
Manage material procurement cycle from submittal to delivery.
Manage subcontractors from submittal to QC and commissioning.
Maintain open and effective communication with project team members, including employee(s), architects, engineers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure project goals are met.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years experience managing commercial, healthcare and education facility electrical construction projects from 10-200k square ft.
BS in Electrical or Mechancical Engineering.
Proficient with electrical estimating software (Acubid, Estimation)
Experience with construction project management software ( Procore, Submittal Exchange)
