Position Overview

We are looking for a professional, personable, and service-minded Host/Hostess to join the team at LON’s at the Hermosa. This position plays an important role in creating the exceptional dining experience our guests have come to expect from one of Arizona’s most celebrated restaurants.

The ideal candidate enjoys working in an upscale hospitality environment, takes pride in providing attentive and personalized service, and understands the importance of professionalism, teamwork, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with a warm, professional, and genuine approach.
• Create a positive first impression and ensure guests feel welcomed upon arrival.
• Manage guest seating and assist with maintaining an efficient flow throughout the dining room.
• Answer guest questions and provide knowledgeable information about the restaurant, menu, hours, and property.
• Assist guests with special requests and communicate their needs effectively to the appropriate team members.
• Monitor the dining room and anticipate guest needs throughout the dining experience.
• Communicate effectively with the service, culinary, and leadership teams to support smooth restaurant operations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming host area and entrance.
• Assist the restaurant team as needed during busy periods.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, service, and company standards.
• Handle guest questions or concerns with professionalism and appropriate follow-through.
• Contribute to a positive, respectful, and team-oriented work environment.
• Maintain a professional appearance and follow established grooming and uniform standards.
• Follow all company policies and procedures while representing The Hermosa Inn and LON’s with professionalism.

Skills & Qualifications

• Previous restaurant, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred.
• A genuine commitment to providing exceptional guest service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, professional, and positive approach.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work effectively with a team.

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.

Position Details

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00–$16.50 per hour, plus tips
Hours: Approximately 20–39 hours per week
Shift: Day and evening shifts available
Availability: Monday–Friday, weekends, and open availability as business needs require
Work Location: In person at The Hermosa Inn
Remote Work: This is an on-site position

Benefits Eligibility

A 90-day waiting period may apply. Benefit eligibility is based on employment status and applicable plan requirements. Medical and dental benefits are available to eligible full-time team members.

Reliable transportation to and from the property is required.

Pay: $15.50 - $16.50 per hour
