Responsibilities
- Safely supervise children during the closing hours, ensuring their well-being until they are picked up by authorized guardians or caregivers
- Conduct thorough end-of-day safety checks of the classroom, play areas, and facility to ensure cleanliness, organization, and security
- Verify attendance records and confirm all children have been properly signed out before closing the facility
- Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and staff regarding children’s needs or any concerns that arise during closing procedures
- Assist with light cleaning duties to maintain a hygienic environment in compliance with health regulations
- Ensure all toys, equipment, and supplies are properly stored and sanitized for the next day’s activities
- Ability to remain calm, attentive, and proactive during busy or emergency situations
