Responsibilities
- Manage inventory control by accurately receiving, stocking, and organizing products using RF scanners and warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts.
- Load and unload shipments efficiently, ensuring timely processing of incoming goods and outgoing deliveries.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of storage areas, including regular cleaning, packaging, and merchandising tasks to uphold store standards.
- Support customer service efforts by replenishing shelves, ensuring product availability, and assisting with product placement to maximize sales.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to identify discrepancies, manage stock levels, and prevent loss through effective inventory management practices.
- Operate warehouse tools safely while adhering to safety protocols; perform heavy lifting as needed to handle bulk items or produce.
- Collaborate with team members across departments such as shipping & receiving, retail sales, and maintenance to ensure smooth store operations.
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse experience or familiarity with inventory management systems is preferred.
- Ability to operate RF scanners, pallet jacks, forklifts (certification a plus), and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail for stock accuracy and store presentation.
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer needs.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting regularly and stand for extended periods during shifts.
- Experience in retail environments such as grocery stores or general merchandise stores is advantageous.
- Knowledge of retail math, shipping & receiving procedures, merchandising standards, and store maintenance practices.
