About Us
Heritage Home Services is a local home repair service with locations in Clemson, SC and Asheville, NC. We provide a wide range of repair services to property owners and managers throughout Upstate South Carolina and Western North Carolina. Services include window & door repairs, finish carpentry, deck repair, cabinet installation, apartment renovation, and other general maintenance repairs. Plumbing and electrical experience not required.
Position Summary
This position will begin as a part-time, on-call role with the potential to become a full-time position in the future. We're looking for someone who enjoys hands-on work and wants to gain experience in the home repair industry. Experience is helpful but not required, we are willing to train the right candidate for the role. This position is for the Western North Carolina branch; applicants must be able to reliably commute to Asheville, NC for this role.
Responsibilities
- Complete basic home repairs and maintenance requests
- Assist with window/door repairs and replacements
- Assist with small remodeling projects
- Safely operate hand and power tools
- Keep work areas clean and organized
- Load, unload, and transport tools and materials
- Complete jobs efficiently while maintaining quality craftsmanship
- Communicate professionally with clients and residents
- Follow company safety procedures
Qualifications
Required
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors
- Basic knowledge of common hand and power tools
- Background check required
Preferred (Not Required)
- Experience with carpentry or home repairs
- Window or door installation/repair experience
- Maintenance or construction background
- Customer service experience
