What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dietary Aide position at Heritage Healthcare of Painesville?
Minimum of 17 years old.
Must be available to work morning or afternoon shifts.
Minimum 1 year experience in Long Term Care Setting.
- Serve Meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearance
- Assist in serving meals as necessary, observing sanitation/safety requirements.
- Serve food in accordance with established portion control procedures.
- Assist in daily cleaning duties.
- Clean work tables, meat blocks, refrigerators/freezers, etc.
- Sweep and mop floors as directed.
- Clean dirty dishes, utensils, pot, pans etc.
- Return clean items back to proper storage areas.
- Set up meal trays, food carts, as directed.
- Obtain food supplies for next meal.
- Deliver food carts to designated areas.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Works in well light areas.
- Subject to frequent interruptions.
- Subject to upset residents.
- Works beyond normal duty hours as needed.
- Subject to call-back during emergency conditions.
- Attends and participates in continuing education programs.
- Subject to sudden temperature changes.
