About Heritage Dialysis

We are a company comprised of dialysis professionals who specialize in providing Home Hemodialysis in a wide array of settings including but not limited to Skilled Nursing Facilities, Assisted Living, Senior Living, and patients' homes. We also specialize in treating patients with higher acuity needs. We can treat patients who require ventilator care, tracheostomy care, bedside dialysis, special cardiac conditions, and most other high acuity needs.

Heritage Dialysis’ business model is built to educate people on their options for dialysis care and to make available the best treatment plans that will not only give them a better quality of life but also help them take back control of life’s busy schedule.

Heritage Dialysis was started by a Dialysis Nurse who wanted to give people suffering from Kidney Failure better access to dialysis options that would allow them to take back control of their lives. Most people suffering from Kidney Failure are prescribed a standard treatment plan that has them go to an outpatient dialysis clinic three times a week for 3.5 – 4 hours at a time. They are given a time slot for when to show up to the clinic and told what foods not to eat and to limit their fluid intake. All of these things put up a barrier between the life they are used to and the new reality they face with Kidney Failure.

Company Culture

· Patient-centered care with Compassion: The culture revolves around providing exceptional patient care with a strong emphasis on compassion and empathy. Staff members collaborate closely, recognizing that each person's role is essential in delivering quality care. Mutual respect and support are evident among nurses, dialysis technicians, nephrologists, dietitians, and social workers.

· Ongoing Professional Development: The facility is committed to the growth and development of its employees. Opportunities for continuing education, training, and certifications are readily available. Staff members are encouraged to pursue specializations in nephrology and other related fields.

· Open Communication: An open and transparent communication culture fosters trust among team members and between staff and management. Regular meetings, feedback sessions, and an "open-door" policy encourage the exchange of ideas and concerns.

· Work-Life Balance: The facility recognizes the importance of work-life balance and strives to accommodate employee schedules whenever possible. Staff members are encouraged to take breaks and vacations to recharge, ensuring they are at their best when caring for patients.
