The start pay for position: $22.00 / hr
The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above range represents the organization's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting
Responsibilities
Supervise and schedule work of all direct support staff, assigning tasks on a daily basis; To assist in the scheduling of direct support shifts to assure appropriate coverage for the individuals
Provide direction to direct support staff, including delegation of responsibilities, so that services are provided and documented as outlined in the individual’s plan
Attend all scheduled training and participate in in-service sessions and other staff training sessions, implementing new procedures and employing Positive Supports and SCIP-R techniques as necessary.
Perform responsibilities of direct support staff
Supervise the facilitation and documentation of each individual’s services, behavior support programs and monthly summaries
Support in the facilitation of monthly meetings with individuals; and to assist as they communicate ideas and concerns; Work as part of the team to address ideas and concerns in a timely manner
To ensure the safe transportation for the individuals involved in the program.
To assure prior to the arrival of program participants that the environment and materials are set up for the days activities.
To pass Medication Administration Course and to administer medications to individuals (certified locations only) in accordance with the Medication Policy of Heritage Christian Services’.
To complete cleaning tasks as deemed appropriate by the Day Habilitation Manager. These tasks may include; assisting with meal preparation, cleaning on-site, assisting with laundry and shopping or other tasks necessary for maintaining a safe, clean hub location.
Responsible for fire safety to include regular fire drill, testing alarms and fire extinguishers
To support the Day Habilitation Manager in facilitating a philosophy within service delivery that supports: self direction, community participation and contribution, productively, and full citizenship.
