Job Overview
We are seeking a Christian educator to inspire and nurture young learners in a new private school. This position will begin in August 2026. As a Teacher, you will play a vital role in fostering childhood development through engaging lesson plans, effective classroom management, and personalized support for each student. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help create a positive learning atmosphere that encourages curiosity, growth, and a love for learning. If you feel God is calling you to teach, this is the job for you! We specifically need people interested in grades K/1 & 4th-6th.
Duties
- Implement Christian curriculum provided by administrator
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and developmental needs of children. We are seeking teachers for grades K-8.
- Manage classroom environments to promote positive behavior, safety, and active participation through effective behavior management strategies.
- Support children academically, spiritually and emotionally.
- Foster open communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress, behavioral concerns, and developmental milestones.
Experience
- Must be a Christian
- Teaching degree preferred but NOT required
- Previous classroom experience working with school aged children in settings such as Sunday school, preschool, or private/public schools.
- Ability to teach across core subjects including literacy education, math, Bible and physical education.
- Experience working with children with special education needs is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and child welfare practices.
- Familiarity with classroom management strategies that promote an inclusive, safe, and stimulating environment.
- Strong communication skills essential for collaborating with colleagues, engaging parents, and supporting student growth effectively. Join us in providing a God centered education to children in our community.
