We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Desktop Support Intern to join our IT team. Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support for desktop hardware, software, printers, and mobile devices
- Assist employees with troubleshooting computer, network, and system-related issues
- Set up, configure, and deploy desktops, laptops, monitors, and peripherals
- Install and update software applications and operating systems
- Help maintain the inventory of equipment and accessories
- Document technical issues, resolutions, and support requests through ticketing systems
- Assist with user account setup, password resets, and access requests
- Support conference room technology and audiovisual equipment as needed
- Maintain a professional and customer-focused approach when assisting users
- Perform additional administrative support tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field
- Basic understanding of Windows operating systems, computer hardware, and networking concepts
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Customer service experience or technical support experience is a plus
- Hands-on experience in a professional IT environment
- Exposure to desktop support operations and end-user support processes
