Life Enrichment Coordinator – Assisted Living
The Cedars | Full-Time | 8-Hour Shifts
Pay: Starting at $25/hour (based on experience)
About the Role
Make a meaningful difference every day. As a Life Enrichment Coordinator at The Cedars, you will create and lead engaging programs that enhance the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our Assisted Living residents.
You’ll bring energy, creativity, and compassion to a variety of activities—from fitness and arts to social events and one-on-one engagement—helping residents stay active, connected, and confident.
What You’ll Do
- Plan and lead daily activities including exercise, games, arts & crafts, and social programs
- Support residents’ emotional and social well-being through meaningful interactions
- Encourage participation and build strong relationships with residents
- Organize special events and group activities
- Assist with resident visits and mealtime support as needed
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive community environment
What We’re Looking For
- 1+ year of experience in activities, recreation, or senior engagement
- Experience in assisted living, long-term care, or similar setting preferred
- Degree in Therapeutic Recreation or related field (preferred)
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- A positive, compassionate, and energetic approach
