First 30 Days
What We Want You to Accomplish:
- Read work orders to determine specifications and efficiently follow production workflow to produce high volume of work.
- Gain knowledge of product materials and respective requirements to produce optimal quality projects.
- Operate a variety of finishing equipment, including cutters and bindery (glue) guns.
- Meet or exceed daily production goals. Ensure that all work produced in accordance with the job ticket and customer’s quality expectations.
- Approach everything you do with a quality mindset and adhere to a defined maximum scrap rate on items produced.
- Partner with Production Lead(s) for timely processing and be flexible to perform other duties as assigned.
- Assemble up to 300 mats per day with little supervision accurately.
- Become familiar with library and have a clear understanding of scheduling.
- Assemble 350 to 500 mats per day of various difficulty levels proficiently with appropriate licensing with little to no supervision.
- Have a clear understanding of the coding system
- Be able to restock appropriate supplies
- Maintain a safe and productive work environment.
- Strong attention to detail, with ability to multitask.
- Perform all assigned work effectively and on schedule.
- Record any quality or scrap issues.
- Notify management of any safety concerns or quality issues.
- Team player and do what it takes attitude when other duties are assigned based on business demand.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Basic math skills and computer literacy.
- Previous success in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated success in going above and beyond to help the team achieve a goal.
- Previous success maintaining a strong attendance and on time record.
- Proficiently read a ruler.
Daily activity includes but is not limited to:
- Lifting, carrying, grasping, reaching, standing, kneeling, walking, bending, twisting.
- Reading, communication, simple math.
- Be able to regularly lift/move up to 50 lbs.
- Climb stairs
- Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to above moderate.
