HeplerBroom LLC is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our St. Louis, MO office. In this role, you will support our skilled team of attorneys as they work on complex commercial litigation cases and appellate matters. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and proactive, with the ability to multitask and contribute to the success of high-stakes legal matters.
Ideal candidate will have:

- Excellent analytical, investigative, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and electronic filing
- A desire to learn and grow professionally from experienced attorneys
Primary Responsibilities:
- Review, analyze, and summarize case records
- Drafting form pleadings
- Complete deposition summaries and indexes
- Conduct legal and factual research, ensuring information is accurate and up-to-date
- Utilize legal research tools (LexisNexis, Westlaw, and other online resources) to gather pertinent case information
- Review, index, and summarize documents such as depositions, and discovery materials
- Draft, edit, and format legal documents as required
- E-file and track court documents in Illinois, Missouri, and Federal Courts
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of litigation experience
- A Bachelor’s degree in any field, or an Associate’s degree in Paralegal Studies, is required
