What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrical Assembler (On-site) position at HEPCO, Inc.?
We are seeking a Mechanical/Electrical Assembler for our client. This position involves assembling components, following technical drawings and digital work instructions, and maintaining accurate production records.
- Assemble mechanical and electrical components using hand and power tools according to technical drawings and blueprints.
- Follow step-by-step electronic work instructions using tablets or kiosks.
- Use handheld scanners and manufacturing systems, such as SAP, to record parts usage, track serial numbers, and request materials.
- Maintain a clean, organized workstation in accordance with 5S standards.
- Complete digital and paper production records, including labor tracking and quality sign-offs.
Qualifications:
- Completion of at least two years of high school or trade school education.
- Current J-STD and IPC soldering certifications, or willingness and ability to obtain certification upon hire.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, and the ability to navigate manufacturing systems.
- Ability to lift 30 pounds independently and up to 70 pounds with assistance.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.

Schedule: Monday-Thursday, four 10-hour shifts, typically 5:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
Pay Range: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour (Depending on experience and qualifications)
