Location: Franklin, IN / Full-Time
Are you a skilled surface grinder looking for a long-term opportunity with a company that values precision, craftsmanship, and continuous improvement? Henry Street Steel is seeking a highly motivated Grinding Machine Operator to join our goal-oriented and team-driven operation.
About the Role:
You’ll work with three surface grinders in our facility, supporting our production team by grinding dies, punches, and tooling to exact tolerances. We're looking for someone with a deep understanding of the grinding process and the pride to produce quality results every time.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience operating surface grinding machines in a manufacturing or machining environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to hold tight tolerances
- Proficient in using precision measuring tools: calipers, micrometers, indicators, etc.
- Experience with sharpening drills (preferred but not required)
- Commitment to safety, accuracy, and quality
- Self-motivated and team-oriented mindset
