Public Health / WIC Nurse

Hourly Pay Range: $26-$30

The Henry County Health Department is accepting applications for a full-time RN to provide Family Case Management & WIC Services. Primary duties include linking families with pregnant women & infants to services, providing education on preventative health care, access to health care, etc. WIC primary duties focus on individual nutrition counseling for WIC participants, nutritional assessment and certification for pregnant women, infants and children. Other duties include immunizations, lead screenings, developmental screenings, depression screening and teeth varnishing. Current Illinois RN license is required along with good communication, counseling and computer skills. Two years of related experience and/or training preferred but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
