Henry Repeating Arms is a family-owned business that manufactures several lines of classic, well-crafted firearms and is a leader in the firearms industry.
Henry is seeking a full-time Maintenance Manager. The Maintenance Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of facility and equipment maintenance to support manufacturing operations, ensuring machinery, tools, and the overall facility operate efficiently and safely. This includes developing and implementing maintenance programs, managing department budgets, and leading a team of skilled technicians. Some responsibilities of this position include:
- Select, train, and supervise maintenance staff, conduct performance reviews, and foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement preventative and predictive maintenance strategies, oversee repair schedules, and ensure equipment reliability. This includes all facets of our building and equipment; which can include HVAC, building/structural, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical equipment.
- Develop and manage the maintenance department budget, track expenditures, and manage the procurement of parts and equipment.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with company policies, governmental regulations (like OSHA), and maintain a safe work environment.
- Optimize maintenance processes to improve efficiency, minimize breakdowns, and ensure production goals are met.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, equipment performance, and inventory.
- Work closely with operations, engineering, and safety teams to align maintenance goals with broader site objectives.
Education and Experience:
- Previous supervisory experience or formal education in supervisory management.
- Demonstrate leadership and people skills.
- Ability to manage time and prioritize work.
- Strong working knowledge of Google Drive and/or MS Office.
- Strong knowledge of industrial electrical and mechanical systems, including PLC controls, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
- Experience with Limble or other Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Demonstrated leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Requires self-management and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Pay is based on experience and qualifications.
