Job Summary
Henry Repeating Arms is seeking a highly skilled and motivated CNC Technician to join our team. CNC Technicians are responsible for giving required support to technical operations in order to meet and exceed safety, quality, and productivity goals. They are responsible for supporting all areas in the CNC Department and troubleshooting equipment in order to keep the department running smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Setup CNC production machines, which primarily includes - work holding, tooling changes, and program changes.
- Provide technical support for Set Up Operators and production department.
- Assist Set Up Operators in their tasks as needed.
- Responsible for modification of “IM” tooling.
- Make minor program edits as directed.
- Work on continuous improvements for CNC and secondary areas as directed.
- Assist with Tool Reconditioning Program.
- Helps with everyday production of parts to ensure quality and accuracy is being met.
- Set up machines for re-running of parts, when necessary, in cells.
- Set up and rework production parts in the Technician area as necessary.
- Perform repairs on work holding, tool holding, etc.
- Identify, troubleshoot and correct problems.
- Responsible for contributing to the achievement of company goals,
- Provides direction and leadership.
- Must be able to multi-task, prioritize and work efficiently in a high production, multi-machine environment.
- Report problems with quality, processes, equipment and materials to management.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to Company’s safety policies.
Qualifications
- Completion of a one-year vocational school program in CNC Machine Tool Operation or equivalent job experience.
- Must be able to correctly and efficiently set up and run all CNC Machines at or above established quality and efficiency standards.
- Knowledge of all CNC equipment and ability to diagnose a problem and react accordingly.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints.
- Must have excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work overtime.
- Perform other job duties as required.
Pay is based on experience.
