Henry Hill PLLC is seeking an experienced and highly organized Litigation Legal Assistant/Paralegal to join our Frisco office. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of litigation experience, exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting critical deadlines. Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and litigation support to multiple attorneys.
- Assist with preparation for hearings, trials, mediations, arbitrations, depositions, and client meetings.
- Organize, maintain, and manage electronic client files and case documents.
- Monitor and calendar state and federal court deadlines.
- Prepare and file documents through state court e-filing systems and the federal PACER system.
- Maintain attorney calendars and coordinate scheduling.
- Assist with time entry, billing, expense reimbursements, and travel arrangements.
- Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Manage competing priorities and multiple assignments in a deadline-driven environment.
- Adhere to firm policies, procedures, and professional standards.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum of three (3) years of recent litigation experience in a law firm setting.
- Paralegal certification preferred, but not required.
- Strong understanding of litigation procedures, court rules, and filing requirements.
- Excellent proofreading, grammar, writing, and organizational skills.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with timekeeping and billing software (Tabs experience preferred).
- Experience working with document management systems.
- Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and legal software platforms.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with attorneys, clients, courts, and opposing counsel.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and maintain a high level of accuracy.
