Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise mill operators, package operators, laborers, and contractors.
- Maintain high safety standards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Oversee production scheduling and ensure quality standards are met.
- Manage employee performance through training and accountability.
- Coordinate with other departments to support smooth operations.
- Assist with project planning and execution, including equipment installation and process improvements.
- Ensure proper maintenance and housekeeping standards are upheld.
- High School diploma or GED.
- 3 years of leadership experience in heavy industry or manufacturing.
- Familiarity with mobile equipment and milling processes.
- Strong mechanical skills and problem-solving ability.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to lift 50-100 pounds and work in various environmental conditions.
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or holidays as
- needed.Shift Clarity:
Flexibility is important in this role. After an initial training period, candidates can expect to settle into a consistent back shift schedule (primarily 2nd or 3rd shift or a split) approximately 80–90% of the time. However, there may be occasional needs (10–20%) to adjust schedules based on operational demands. In return, we offer flexibility and support when you need it.
