Key Responsibilities:
- Perform structural design and analysis for transportation infrastructure projects, including bridges and culverts
- Develop construction documents in accordance with AASHTO and PennDOT standards
- Utilize MicroStation for design and drafting tasks
- Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and regulatory agencies
- Support project delivery from design through construction phases
- Ensure compliance with PennDOT requirements and project specifications
- Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) – required
- Minimum 5 years of structural engineering experience
- Demonstrated experience working on PennDOT projects (hands-on design exposure required)
- Strong knowledge of AASHTO design standards
- Proficiency in MicroStation
- Experience with bridge and culvert design
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Office-based role in one of the following locations: Pittsburgh, Harrisburg, or Philadelphia
- No travel required between offices
