Cheese Packaging Assistant – Part-Time (First Shift)
Location: Approximately 6 miles northeast of Kiel, WI
Pay: Starting at $18/hour
We are a small, fourth-generation family cheese company dedicated to crafting high-quality, traditional cheese products. We’re looking for dependable, long-term team members who bring a great attitude, patience, and strong communication skills — and who are always willing to lend a hand wherever needed. Position Overview
As part of our packaging and production team, you’ll assist with a variety of hands-on tasks that support our artisan cheese-making and retail operations. This position requires reliability, teamwork, and a readiness to learn.
Primary Responsibilities
- Packaging Cheese Curds and Mozza Whips
- Cutting and packaging 40-pound cheese blocks into smaller retail sizes
- Operating automated packaging and labeling equipment
- Assisting with Mozza Whip production
- Pricing and preparing orders for our Wisconsin retail store routes
- Maintaining sanitation and cleanliness standards
- Building boxes, tracking inventory, and performing other general tasks as needed
Work Conditions & Requirements
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.

- Work in a cooler environment as needed
- Physical stamina is important — this role may be challenging for individuals with lower back or leg issues. It may take several weeks for your body to adapt to the work as you will be using different muscles. . We need you to be able to handle all the jobs in this position.

Schedule
- Part-Time, First Shift: 8:00 a.m. – Noon or 1:00 pm
- Monday–Friday, with hours varying by day and workload
- Hours may increase during the holiday season
Qualifications

- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Reliable attendance and honesty are essential
- Willingness to assist in other departments as needed
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to speak and understand English
- United States citizenship required
- No jewelry, painted nails, extensions, or false eyelashes allowed (for safety and sanitation reasons)
