We are seeking a proactive, high-bandwidth Accountant to join our growing team. This role is a perfect fit for a dynamic, independent, and resourceful individual who genuinely enjoys assisting people with their accounting and tax needs. Qualifications
Candidates must possess one or more of the following:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Certification: CPA or Enrolled Agent (EA) designations.
- Experience: Prior experience working in a public accounting office environment.
Key Responsibilities & Skills Desired
Candidates must have experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Tax Compliance: Preparing Federal, State, and Local tax filings for individuals and businesses.
- Attest: Reviews, Compilations, and Preparation engagements.
- QuickBooks Software Mastery: QuickBooks Online and Desktop file setup, analyzing the pros/cons of different versions, performing multi-year recaps, and managing monthly and weekly bookkeeping functions.
- Payroll Processing: Managing full-cycle payroll, including tax withholdings and reporting.
