YOUR ROLE
- Laboratory scale preparation of adhesive and sealant formulations by compounding in lab-or pilot-scale mixers.
- Preparation of compounds for testing using lab-scale filling equipment.
- Testing of compounds and prototypes in accordance with industry standard test methods (ASTM, ISO).
- Testing includes Tensile/elongation, broad range of rheological testing, stability, environmental and weathering testing as well as testing in applications such as windows, kitchen and bathroom applications,
- Testing may be done on small lab-scale constructions or on full scale articles e.g. windows.
- The intern will be responsible for construction of test specimens, maintaining an adequate supply of raw materials.
- Must work safely at all times in accordance with Henkel EHS safety rules. responsible to maintain a clean and hygienic workplace in accordance with Henkel EHS and Mentor site 5S standards.
