What You´ll Do
- Prepare and test adhesive formulations in accordance with established guidelines, working independently or in collaboration with chemists, scientists and technical staff.
- Read and follow work instructions and safety data sheets (SDS) related to sample preparation, formulating adhesives and sample testing.
- Employ basic problem-solving skills to overcome project bottlenecks and maintain project deliverable dates.
- Accurately document test data in laboratory information systems. Communicates basic observations regarding data and/or experimental outcomes.
- Utilize various computer systems to perform work and write internal and external final test reports.
- Use a variety of curing and dispensing equipment.
- Maintain calibration of laboratory instruments regularly to ensure reliability
- Maintain a clean, organized laboratory environment and support safe work practices, including the use of proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), adherence to site safety practices, use of laboratory equipment, 5S, etc.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
- Minimum of an associate’s degree in chemistry, biology or any science field. Preferred bachelor’s degree in chemistry, science, engineering or a science field.
- Ability to gather, understand, and interpret chemical, physical and mechanical data.
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
- Demonstrates a strong work ethic with a proactive, detail-oriented approach, supported by strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Understanding of mathematical and statistical techniques relevant to adhesive product testing.
- Solid interpersonal skills. Candidate must be able to work as a team member and independently on multi-task assignments.
- Knowledgeable in Power Point, Word, Lotus Notes, Excel and Statistical Analysis Software (JMP) is preferred.

Salary : $50,000 - $60,000
