Our client is a U.S.-based manufacturer that designs and builds professional-grade tools used by electrical contractors across the country. The company operates a manufacturing facility in Wellford and is known for producing durable equipment used across the electrical and construction industries.
They are seeking an Inventory Control Manager to lead inventory accuracy, inventory systems, and material flow within their manufacturing operation.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate inventory across the facility through cycle counts, physical inventories, and reconciliation
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions
- Oversee inventory transactions within the ERP system (Acumatica), including receipts, shipments, and returns
- Monitor and manage excess, obsolete, and scrap inventory
- Track inventory performance metrics and analyze inventory variances
- Partner with purchasing, planning, warehouse, and production teams to improve material flow
- Lead and develop the inventory control team and ensure adherence to inventory procedures
Qualifications
- Inventory control or materials management experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience working in an ERP system (Acumatica preferred)
- Experience with cycle counts, inventory reconciliation, and BOMs
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
