Press Operator Lv 2

Position Purpose

Responsible for performing Stamping Press operations.

Hourly or Salary Range: $17.75 - $20.75

Essential Functions

• Maintain Environmental, Health & Safety Standards in the workplace
• All essential functions as required for Press Operator Level 1
• Run Table Stamping Press, Web Stamping Press, and Bracket Dies, Rovetta 1
• Adjust presses when necessary
• Use height gauges, micrometers, calipers, pin gauges
• Rework
• Fills out tags
• Fills out steel log sheet and Reads blueprints
• Always keeps work area clean
• Works in a safe manner always
• Other job duties may be assigned by supervisor
  
  

Education And Training

• High School Diploma
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to read and understand blueprints
• Must be able to use measuring equipment
• Must be able to work independently
• Ability to work well with others
  
  

Physical Demands

• Must be able to lift 25lbs
• Must be able stand continuously for 8 - 12 hours
• Must be able to bend, twist and lift repetitively
• Demonstrates dependability and adherence to all safety rules and regulations
• Ability to work in tight places
• Good hand/eye coordination and good motor skills
  
  

Environmental Conditions

• Ear and Eye protection always required in all production areas
• Exposure to noisy work environment
• Exposure to hot and humid conditions
• Exposure to coolants, oils, grease and water
• Steel toe boots with metatarsal guards are always required
