Responsible for supporting inventory control processes, including cycle counting and location auditing, to ensure inventory accuracy and compliance with company policies and plant procedures.
Major Responsibilities
- Train with the current Cycle Count team to learn and support the requirements of the plant’s Cycle Count Program.
- Perform tasks in accordance with Division Policies and Plant Work Instructions, including conducting cycle counts and location audits.
- Support the team in achieving the plant’s monthly cycle count targets.
- Assist with the reconciliation of inventory discrepancies and perform root cause analysis in accordance with departmental guidelines.
- Ensure inventory discrepancies are investigated and resolved in a timely manner.
- Perform a variety of related inventory and operational support activities as directed, including but not limited to Receiving Dock Audits, Marsh counts, and Work Cell counts.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with internal and external personnel across all levels of the organization.
- Serve as a backup to the MRO Assistant and Planner Assistant as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Familiarity with MRP II principles, manufacturing processes, and operations management preferred.
- Experience with cycle counting in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with PC applications, including spreadsheets and general computer systems.
