Press Brake Operator-2nd shift

Position Purpose

Performs essential functions, including the ability to operate press brake

Essential Functions

• Make running adjustments to press brake as needed
• Meet established production standards
• Conduct required quality checks using Tape/Calipers (basic measuring equipment)
• Accurately report daily activities on work orders and other media as required
• Basic data entry
• Daily use of Microsoft Office
• Exercise safe working habits while operating machines
• Keep machine and work areas clean and free of safety hazards
• Comply with the Quality Management System
• Other duties as assigned
• Maintain regular attendance
  
  

Education and Training

• High school diploma or GED required
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be able to meet production standards and follow directions
• Must be able to read and understand blueprints with geometric tolerancing
• Must be able to speak, read and write legibly in English
• Must have experience with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
• QAD experience preferred
  
  

Physical Demands

• Must be able to physically lift 40 lbs. unassisted
  
  

Environmental Conditions

• Exposure to extreme heat and extreme cold while in the plant
• Fast paced work environment

• Must be able to interact appropriately with internal and external parties
